Glad I found you. Also a small business owner, retail, (24 years), starting to write about the journey and the day-to-day. Intent on sharing what has worked and not worked so much. Looking for a tribe for networking, support and basically just interested people. Thanks for your candor. I will grab some time to review past posts.
Ditto, 30-year brick & mortar veteran here, bankruptcy survivor, now back on the horse and fighting the windmills for the last nine years. I've been writing about some of the same topics on my blog as what Katherine writes about here, and I look forward to the conversation.
I admire the courage and tenacity it must take, not just to keep the business going but also to write about it so transparently here. Thanks for your honesty, and I wish you all the success this year!
Absolutely agree about the idea of business blue zones - I work with my restaurant and retail clients to help them build them by working together more. Thank you for sharing your journey and being so vulnerable about how you continue to do this important work.
